SIMULASI BAKTERI ASAM LAKTAT YANG DIISOLASI DARI SILASE DAUN PELEPAH SAWIT PADA SALURAN PENCERNAAN AYAM
Abstract
Viability of the lactic acid bacteria decreased along with the variation in the degree of pH contained in the gastro intestinal tract. The research objective of this study were evaluated for number of lactic acid bacteria isolated from palm silage when simulated in the poultry gastrointestinal tract the bacterium during storage time of 21 days. The results showed that the pH of palm silage were higher in treatment A of 7.56 than those was treatment D of 6.88 (P<0.05). That the number lactic acid bacteria storage time of 21 days was higher (P<0.05) compared with the number of colonies on a storage time of 0,
7, and 14 days and the decrease of pH contained in the gastro intestinal tract. . It is concluded the storage time 21 days
resulted in pH and number lactic acid bacteria was the best compared to other storage duration and the number of lactic acid bacteria. The number of lactic acid bacteria survive at pH 7.5 with incubation time of 70 minutes (Simulation ileum)Keywords
