Journal History

An-Nida' is a journal published by the Institute for Research and Community Services (LPPM) at Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau. The journal was first published in 1980 and was originally managed by the Center for Research and Community Services (P3M) at IAIN Susqa Pekanbaru. An-Nida' is an open-access publication, released biannually in June and December.

An-Nida' was first published online in 2011, in Volume 36, Number 1.

An-Nida' has been accredited as SINTA 4 by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia, as per decree No. 79/E/KPT/2023 dated 31 July 2023.

An-Nida' has revised its writing style, language, and the quantity of articles published. The updated writing style encompasses modifications to the title font size, the arrangement of author names, the spacing between main article sections set at 1.15, and the placement of the bibliography. These alterations were implemented in response to feedback received from reviewers during the accreditation evaluation.

An-Nida' has been successfully upgraded to accreditation rank 2 (SINTA 2) in accordance with the Decree of the Director General of Research and Development, Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology, Number 295/C/C3/KPT/2026, dated 2 January 2026, concerning the Scientific Journal Accreditation Rankings for the 2025 period.
