The Tsaqifa Nusantara is an open-accessed journal served as a medium of publishing scientific articles by Department of Tadris IPS, Faculty of Education and Teacher Training UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau. The articles, which are published by this journal are the outcomes of researches and the findings of the studies of current issues within perspective of social education of Islam and cultures from perspective of Islam. This journal attempts to spread thoughts in form of concepts, theories, paradigms, perspective and methodology of social education. The scopes of the Tsaqifa Nusantara Journal are focused on: 1) Learning IPS, 2) social phenomena in society. The contributors can be academicians, teachers, students, and practitioners who work in the field of education.

Jurnal Tsaqifa Nusantara merupakan jurnal akses terbuka sebagai wadah penerbitan artikel ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Jurusan Tadris IPS Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau. Artikel yang diterbitkan dapat berupa hasil penelitian dan kajian tentang isu-isu terkini dalam perspektif pendidikan sosial Islam dan bidang budaya, khususnya dalam perspektif Islam. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menyebarluaskan pemikiran dalam bentuk konsep, teori, paradigma, perspektif dan metodologi di bidang pendidikan Sosial. Ruang lingkup Jurnal Tsaqifa Nusantara berfokus pada bagian: 1) Pembelajaran IPS 2) Fenomena Sosial di masyarakat Kontributor Jurnal Tsaqifa Nusantara dapat berasal dari akademisi, guru, siswa, dan praktisi yang bekerja di dunia pendidikan.
