Optimalisasi Model Numbered Heads Together dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Tema Lingkungan Tempat Tinggalku di Sekolah Dasar

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada tema “Lingkungan Tempat Tinggalku dan Keunikan Tempat Tinggalku” melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together (NHT) di kelas IV SDN 028 Rimbo Panjang. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dimana setiap siklus terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 35 siswa yang terdiri dari 24 siswa laki-laki dan 11 siswa perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, tes hasil belajar, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Numbered Heads Together mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan. Pada siklus I, tingkat ketuntasan belajar siswa mencapai 68,6% dengan 24 siswa tuntas dan 11 siswa belum tuntas. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan pada siklus II, ketuntasan belajar meningkat menjadi 100% dengan seluruh siswa mencapai kriteria ketuntasan. Selain meningkatkan hasil belajar, model NHT juga mampu meningkatkan keaktifan, kerja sama, motivasi, dan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran.
