Respon Ulama Kontemporer Menanggapi Beberapa Isu dalam Pluralisme Agama di Malaysia

Abstract


The issue of religious pluralism cause unrest in the Muslim community in our country. She can wear away the belief that a thin majority of Muslims faith. This paper aims to examine the challenges facing the contemporary scholars the issue of pluralism is increasingly transmitted in Malaysia. This study is a qualitative assessment form. The method used to obtain the data documentation while inductive and deductive methods to analyze the data before formulating conclusions rather than facts presented. There are various issues that is apostasy and conversion of religion, interfaith love, celebrations and religious rituals together, use the sentence of Allah by non- Muslims, Muslim community leaders half a tendency to bring messeage pluralism in their speech, whether they realize it contains elements of pluralism or vice versa. Precisely, the contemporary scholars should always be sensitive, responsive in identifying issues that touch of religious pluralism, either express or implied. Strictly speaking, they are very concern and dexterity required to handle it wisely and will demonstrate their ability to meet the challenges of the times.
