AUTHOR GUIDELINES

        HINT TO WRITERS

  1. Articles submitted have never been published and are not being submitted to other journals.
  2. Articles written for the Civil Society Journal include the results of research and community service, both literature and field research related to Community Development studies.
  3. The length of the article consists of 6000 - 7000 words.
  4. Articles are written in Indonesian or English. Writing conforms to the Author Guidelines .
  5. The systematics of writing an article is the title, author's name (accompanied by institutional address and e-mail address), abstract (accompanied by keywords), introduction, method, results and discussion, conclusions, and references.
  6. The title of the article in Indonesian is no more than 15 words, while in English it is no more than 12 words.
  7. The name of the author of the article is listed without an academic degree, accompanied by the name of the institution, the author's e-mail address, placed under the title of the article. If the manuscript is written by more than one person, the e-mail included is only the main author's e-mail.
  8. Abstract and keywords are written in two languages (Indonesian and English). Abstract length 100-150 words, accompanied by 3-5 words keywords. Minimal abstract contains goals, methods, and results.
  9. The introductory section for articles contains background, research context, results of literature review, and research objectives. All introductory sections are presented in an integrated manner in the form of paragraphs.
  10. The method section contains an explanation in the form of paragraphs about research design, data sources, data collection techniques, and data analysis.
  11. The research results and discussion section contains an explanation of the results of the analysis related to the research objectives. The discussion contains an analysis of the results and discussion with theories and results of similar research.
  12. The conclusion section contains answers to the purpose of writing the article and is presented in paragraph form instead of bullet points.
  13. All manuscripts were reviewed anonymously by double-blind reviewers appointed by the editor based on their field of expertise. The author of the article must make improvements (revisions) to the manuscript on the basis of recommendations/suggestions from best partners and/or editors.
  14. The reference list only contains the sources referred to in the article, and all referenced sources must be listed in the reference list. Reference sources of at least 80% are literature published in the last 10 years. At least 60% of the total referrals used are primary sources in the form of research articles in journals.
  15. Using a plagiarism check system such as turnitin, the allowed plagiarism limit is 25%
  16. Reference lists are recommended using a reference management tool (Mendeley). The reference list is arranged alphabetically according to APA Style 7th edition.
