Pembentukan Kepribadian Muslim Anak di Masa Golden Age Melalui Pendidikan Profetik Keluarga di Era Digital

Abstract


This research was prepared to find out the prophetic education carried out by parents in shaping the Muslim personality of golden age children. The location of this research is Anduring Lubuk Napa Village. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods that combine data sources from the field and data sources from references related to the theme of this research. The results showed that parents intensively introduce Islamic religious values to children in order to form children's Muslim personality, especially during the golden age. In the digital era as it is today, the development of technology, the majority of parents utilise the YouTube platform in the formation of children's Muslim personality. YouTube content used includes content that can provide religious education such as stories of prophets and apostles, murattal al-qur'an played to children through mobile phones or speakers, animated series, prophet stories, shalawat, asmaul husna as well as other Islamic-related content. Differences in the use of gadgets in education and character building of parents are triggered by educational, occupational and economic factors of the family. The use of YouTube content in gadgets has implications for the quality and quantity of preschool children's understanding of religious values in the digital era. In addition to utilising gadgets in implementing prophetic education carried out by parents, habituation and exemplification of positive and Islamic things are also done by parents, even though the actual formation of this Muslim personality is dominated by the use of gadgets.
