Kinerja Guru Fisika: Bagaimana Persepsi Siswa terhadap Kinerja Guru Mereka?
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa SMA/MA kota
Payakumbuh tentang kompetensi guru fisika. Penelitian ini melibatkan 900
siswa dan 12 guru fisika. Instrumen penelitian meliputi angket, dan
observasi, yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data kompetensi guru. Teknik
analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif melalui pengkategorian dan
persentase. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa Guru fisika di SMA/MA kota
Payakumbuh, untuk kompetensi kepribadian dan sosial 100% sudah
termasuk dalam kategori baik dan sangat baik, sedangkan untuk kompetensi
profesional dan pedagogik, menurut penilaian siswa 22,22% guru fisika
termasuk dalam kategori baik, selebihnya berada pada kategori cukup.
Terdapat sedikit perbedaan penilaian diri yang dilakukan guru, dengan
penilaian siswa. Guru memberikan penilaian yang lebih tinggi terhadap
kemampuannya, sedangkan siswa memberikan penilaian yang lebih rendah.
