Vinyl swimming pools and vinyl lined pools are the easiest do it yourself repairs of the types of swimming pools most frequently found. There are some repair kids readily available now that enable you too fix the tear under water, but for the most irreversible results it is best to drain the pool below the level of the tear and enable the vinyl spot to dry totally before filling up the pool.
