Hubungan Berfikir Positif dengan Kebahagiaan Penderita Kanker Payudara
Abstract
Kebahagiaan merupakan sesuatu yang penting bagi penderita kanker payudara karena dapat menghambat pertumbuhan dan penyebaran sel kanker. Salah satu hal yang menentukan kebahagiaan seseorang salah satunya intentional activities yang melibatkan kognitif yaitu berpikir positif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara berpikir positif dengan kebahagiaan penderita kanker payudara. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional dengan alat pengumpulan data berupa skala PANAS (Positive Affect and Negatif Affect) dan SWLS (Satisfaction With Life Scale) untuk mengukur kebahagiaan, sedangkan berpikir positif disusun berdasarkan teori Albrecht. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 65 penderita kanker payudara dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu kuota sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu korelasi product moment. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan berpikir positif dengan kebahagiaan penderita kanker payudara dengan nilai r = 0,406 (p = 0,000<0,005). Artinya berpikir positif memiliki hubungan dengan kebahagiaan. Kebahagiaan penderita kanker payudara pada aspek afek positif berada pada kategori sangat tinggi, afek negatif berada pada kategori sangat rendah sedangkan aspek kognitif berada pada kategori tinggi. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa aspek afirmasi diri berkontribusi besar terhadap kebahagiaan, sedangkan penyesuaian diri secara realistik memberikan kontribusi paling kecil. Sehingga penderita kanker payudara diharapkan agar dapat lebih memodifikasi penyesuaian diri.

ABSTRACT
Happiness is something that is important for breast cancer patients because it can inhibit the growth and spread of cancer cells. One of the things that determine one’s happiness is one of intentional activities that inyolves cognitive thinking is positive. The purpose of this study to determine the relationship between positive thinking with the happiness of breast cancer patients. This research is a correlational quantitative research with data collection tool in the form of heat scale (Positive Affect and Negative Affect) and SWLS (Satisfaction With Life Scale) to measure happiness, whereas positive thinking is based on Albrecht's theory. The number of samples used in this study as many as 65 breast cancer patients with sampling technique that is quota sampling. Data analysis technique used is product moment correlation. The results showed that there was a significant correlation between positive thinking and happiness of breast cancer patients with r = 0,406 (p = 0,000 <0,005). It means that positive thinking has a relationship with happiness. The happiness of breast cancer patients on the positive affects aspect is in very high category, negative affects are in very low category while the cognitive aspect is in the high category. The results of the study found that the self affirmation aspect contributed greatly to happiness, whereas realistic adjustment contributed the least. So that breast cancer patients are expected to be able to further modify the adjustment.
