Fear of COVID-19, Intolerance of Uncertainty, dan Health Anxiety Pada Kelompok Usia Produktif Di Era Pandemi COVID-19

Abstract


Berdasarkan hasil survei, kelompok usia produktif adalah kelompok usia yang paling banyak terkonfirmasi positif COVID-19. Tidak hanya itu, kondisi pandemi COVID-19 juga memberikan dampak yang signifikan baik pada pekerjaan maupun kesehatan mental mereka. Fear, anxiety, dan uncertainty merupakan reaksi psikologis yang wajar ditemui pada masa pandemi seperti saat ini. Namun, apabila respon ini berkembang ke arah maladaptif, maka dapat menimbulkan dampak-dampak negatif lebih banyak pada individu dalam jangka waktu yang lebih panjang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami gambaran fear of COVID-19, intolerance of uncertainty (IU), dan health anxiety pada individu usia produktif khususnya di Jabodetabek dan untuk memahami dinamika hubungan antara ketiga variabel tersebut.

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan jenis penelitian korelasi sebab-akibat. Instrumen pengukuran yang akan digunakan adalah kuesioner fear of COVID-19, IUS-12, dan WI-8, yang masing-masing akan mengukur tingkatan fear of COVID-19, IU, dan health anxiety pada partisipan. Adapun partisipan pada penelitian ini adalah individu berusia 19-45 tahun yang berdomisili di Jabodetabek. Teknik analisis yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji korelasi dan uji regresi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi positif yang signifikan antara variabel IU, health anxiety, dan fear of COVID-19.
