Etika Profesi Guru dalam Era Globalisasi Analisis Tantangan dan Peluang dalam Praktik Pendidikan di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Baiturrahman Sebulu

Abstract


Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perubahan besar dalam dunia pendidikan akibat globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi digital yang memunculkan berbagai tantangan terhadap penerapan etika profesi guru. Guru tidak hanya dituntut memiliki kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional, tetapi juga integritas moral yang kuat dalam membimbing peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan etika profesi guru, mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi, serta mengkaji peluang penguatan etika profesi dalam praktik pendidikan di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Baiturrahman Sebulu. Ruang lingkup penelitian mencakup konsep etika profesi, implementasinya dalam pembelajaran, tantangan di era globalisasi, serta dampaknya terhadap mutu pendidikan dan pembentukan karakter siswa. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif melalui teknik observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan etika profesi guru berperan penting dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang kondusif, meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, serta membentuk karakter siswa. Meskipun menghadapi tantangan teknologi, perubahan nilai sosial, dan beban administratif, etika profesi tetap dapat diperkuat melalui dukungan lembaga, budaya religius sekolah, serta kolaborasi dengan orang tua dan masyarakat.
