This is great for your day-to-day Joe at the family barbeque, however not a paid family digital photographer. Subjects have the tendency to believe they will certainly suit the image better if they turn and lower their heads. Amusing point is, I've even captured myself doing this when I was being photographed. Expect it and also avoid it.
