Hubungan Antara Emotional Distress Dengan Perilaku Makan Tidak Sehat Pada Mahasiswa Baru

Abstract


Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menemukan hubungan antara emosional distress dengan perilaku makan tidak sehat pada mahasiswa baru. Subjek penelitian ini 62 mahasiswa baru di Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Gadjah Mada Yogyakarta, yang berusia 17 sampai 20 tahun. Subjek diminta untuk mengisi skala Emotional Distress dan skala Perilaku Makan Tidak Sehat. Berdasarkan uji korelasi product moment Karl Pearson diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara tingkat emotional distress dengan perilaku makan pada mahasiswa baru, yaitu r=0.289 dengan angka signifikansi 0.011 (p<0.05). Emotional Distress memberikan sumbangan terhadap perilaku makan tidak sehat sebesar 8.3%.
