Author Guidelines

Journal Writing Instructions are as follows:

 

  1. The submitted article has never been published and is not being submitted to another journal.
  2. Articles written for the El-Riyasah Journal include articles on research results in the field of Leadership and Administration.
  3. Articles are written on mic.word around 6.000 - 7000 words, time writing style.. size 12 and 1.5 spacing.
  4. Articles are written in Indonesian or English. Writing adjusts the writing instructions.
  5. The systematics of the research articles are the title, author's name (along with the institution's address and e-mail address), abstract (with keywords), introduction, method, results and discussion, conclusion, and references.
  6. The title of the article in Indonesian is not more than 18 words, while in English it is not more than 15 words.
  7. The name of the author of the article is listed without an academic degree, accompanied by the name of the institution, the e-mail of the author, placed under the title of the article.
  8. Abstract and keywords are written in two languages (Indonesian and English). Abstract length 100-200 words, accompanied by 3-5 keyword phrases. Minimum abstract contains objectives, theories, methods, and results.
  9. The introduction section contains the background, research problems, and research objectives. The entire introduction is presented in an integrated manner in the form of paragraphs.
  10. The method section contains an explanation in the form of a paragraph about research design, this section contains the type of research, research subjects/objects, data sources, data collection techniques, and data analysis.
  11. The research results and discussion section contains an explanation of the results of the analysis related to the research objectives. The discussion contains an analysis of the results and discussions with theories and similar research results, the authors can include pictures, tables and diagrams for a comprehensive explanation.
  12. The conclusion section contains answers to the purpose of writing the article and research findings, and is presented in the form of paragraphs instead of bullet points.
  13. All manuscripts are reviewed anonymously by double-blind reviewers who are appointed by the editor based on their field of expertise. Article writers must revise (revise) the manuscript on the basis of recommendations/suggestions from review partners and/or editors.
  14. The reference list contains only the sources referred to in the article, and all sources referenced must be listed in the reference list. Reference sources at least 80% in the form of libraries published in the last 10 years.
  15. Writing a list of references is recommended using reference management (Zotero, Mendeley and others). Reference list is arranged alphabetically referring to APA Style 6th edition.
  16. The tolerance limit for similarity checking results (turnitin) is a maximum of 30%.

 

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
