Analisis Penerapan Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) pada Proses Bisnis Penjualan di Departemen Sales pada PT.XYZ

Penggunaan manajemen sistem informasi yang efisien dalam mengintegrasikan proses bisnis antar departemen dinilai dapat meningkatkan produktivitas dan efisiensi proses penjualan pada departemen Sales. Hal inilah yang membuat PT. XYZ menggunakan Sistem ERP untuk mendukung semua proses bisnisnya pada setiap departemen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis apakah terjadi peningkatan efisiensi terhadap waktu dan jumlah aksi yang perlu dilakukan pada proses penjualan di departemen Sales setelah menggunakan system ERP. Analisis ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan parameter yang digunakan adalah lama waktu proses dan jumlah aksi yang diperlukan oleh pengguna dalam menjalankan aktivitas penjualannya. Data ini diambil dengan metode wawancara langsung dengan semua pengguna yang bertanggung jawab atas masing-masing bagian dalam serangkain proses penjualan pada department tersebut. Data kemudian diolah untuk menghasilkan nilai presentase efisiensi dari penggunaan sistem ERP dengan membandingkannya terhadap parameter yang sama tanpa menggunakan sistem ERP. Hasil yang didapat dalam pengimplementasian sistem ERP ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan efisiensi pada waktu sebesar 75% lebih singkat dan jumlah aksi yang perlu dilakukan lebih sedikit sebesar 80%, yakni dari 18 aksi menjadi 10 aksi.
