Bagaimana Tahapan Kedukaan Pasca Kehilangan Orang Tercinta Selama Covid-19?
Abstract
Tingginya prevalensi Covid-19 di dunia yang mengakibatkan banyak orang meninggal menjadi alasan pentingnya menjelaskan tahapan kedukaan orang-orang yang kehilangan orang tercinta selama Covid-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tahapan kedukaan yang dialami oleh orang yang kehilangan orang tercinta selama Covid-19. Metode kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan melibatkan partisipan penelitian sebanyak 7 orang, dengan rincian laki-laki 3 orang dan perempuan 4 orang. Penetapan partisipan penelitian berdasarkan bukti riwayat hasil uji Tes Antigen dan PCR SWAB untuk memastikan bahwa orang terdekat mereka meninggal disebabkan Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara secara mendalam (in-depth interview) dalam pengumpulan data dan analisis tematik dalam menganalisis data. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa tahapan kedukaan orang yang ditinggalkan orang tercinta karena Covid-19 terdiri dari pengalaman awal partisipan, penolakan, rasa marah, upaya untuk tawar-menawar, depresi, dan penerimaan. Partisipan juga mengeksplorasi berbagai upaya agar tidak terlarut secara mendalam pada kondisi berduka yang dilaminya. Partisipan penelitian tidak semuanya memiliki tahapan kedukaan yang berurutan seperti pada tahapan kedukaan Elisabeth Kubler-Ross. Rentang waktu atau durasi pengalaman partisipan sejak pengalaman awal hingga proses penerimaan juga dibahas.
