Kekuatan Keluarga Pada Keluarga Yang Anaknya Mengalami Gangguan Psikosis Episode Pertama
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana kekuatan keluarga pada keluarga yang anaknya menderita psikosis episode pertama. Penelitian ini melibatkan tiga keluarga dengan empat orang penderita psikosis episode pertama. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan penggunaan data rekam medis sebagai tambahan informasi yang dibutuhkan. Data yang didapatkan diolah secara fenomenologis, sehingga didapatkan tema-tema spesifik yang memberikan gambaran tentang kekuatan keluarga tersebut. Penerimaan positif keluarga yaitu keluarga menerima jika salah satu anggota keluarga (anak) mengalami psikosis, mereka selalu berusaha untuk memperoleh pengobatan dan dalam upaya pemulihan; kemampuan menyelesaikan permasalahan; komunikasi yang efektif dan terbuka; kedekatan dan kebersamaan dalam keluarga (berkumpul bersama); dukungan dari keluarga besar seperti terlibat dalam mencari pengobatan dan bantuan finansial; ketaatan dalam beribadah dan saling mendo’akan; sumber daya ekonomi dan status sosial yang dipandang
lebih di masyarakat, merupakan karakteristik kekuatan keluarga yang berperan positif dalam mempercepat proses percarian pengobatan, maupun dalam masa pemulihan anaknya yang menderita psikosis episode pertama.
