Puisi 'Neupulang' sebagai Upaya Edukasi Emosional dan Kultural dalam Mitigasi Bencana Berbasis Seni

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji apresiasi mahasiswa Program Studi Sendratasik Universitas Syiah Kuala terhadap pertunjukan dramatisasi puisi Neupulang karya Ikram, yang mengangkat tema kehilangan, trauma, dan harapan pascabencana. Fokus kajian diarahkan pada unsur-unsur pertunjukan yang mencakup tata artistik (busana, properti, cahaya, dan suara/musik), ekspresi keaktoran, serta struktur dramatik yang terdiri dari eksposisi, konflik, klimaks, dan resolusi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed method, yaitu kombinasi metode kualitatif deskriptif dan kuantitatif melalui penyebaran angket. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi, serta kuesioner yang diisi oleh mahasiswa sebagai penonton pertunjukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertunjukan mendapat respons positif dari mayoritas mahasiswa. Unsur-unsur dramatik dinilai efektif dalam menyampaikan pesan puisi secara emosional dan visual. Akting tunggal tokoh anak, penggunaan properti sederhana namun simbolis, tata cahaya yang dinamis, serta iringan musik yang mendukung suasana, semuanya berkontribusi dalam membangun keterlibatan emosional penonton. Temuan ini memperlihatkan bahwa seni pertunjukan, khususnya dramatisasi puisi, memiliki potensi sebagai media edukasi kebencanaan. Melalui pendekatan estetika dan afektif, pertunjukan ini tidak hanya menyampaikan narasi bencana, tetapi juga membentuk kesadaran emosional dan empati penonton terhadap dampak psikososial bencana.
