Pengaruh stereotipe terhadap perilaku tawuran remaja di sekolah

Tawuran pelajar masih menjadi salah satu bentuk kekerasan kolektif yang sering terjadi di lingkungan pendidikan dan berpotensi mengganggu perkembangan sosial serta psikologis remaja. Salah satu faktor yang diduga berkontribusi terhadap munculnya perilaku tersebut adalah stereotipe negatif antarkelompok pelajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh stereotipe terhadap perilaku tawuran remaja di sekolah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional dan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 50 siswa SMA/SMK di Kota Ambon yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui Skala Stereotipe yang terdiri atas 16 item dan Skala Perilaku Tawuran Remaja yang terdiri atas 20 item. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa stereotipe berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku tawuran remaja (F = 10,505; p = 0,002; β = 0,411). Nilai koefisien determinasi (R² = 0,180) menunjukkan bahwa stereotipe memberikan kontribusi sebesar 18% terhadap variasi perilaku tawuran, sedangkan 82% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar model penelitian. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi stereotipe negatif yang dimiliki remaja terhadap kelompok pelajar lain, semakin tinggi pula kecenderungan mereka untuk terlibat dalam perilaku tawuran. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya upaya pencegahan tawuran melalui program pendidikan yang berfokus pada pengurangan stereotipe, penguatan hubungan antarkelompok, dan pengembangan interaksi sosial yang positif di lingkungan sekolah.References
