Model-Model Islamisasi Ilmu Pengetahuan Perspektif Ismail Raji Al-Faruqi dan Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas

Islamisasi ilmu pengetahuan merupakan upaya untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam ke dalam kerangka keilmuan modern yang sekuler. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis model Islamisasi ilmu pengetahuan menurut Ismail Raji Al-Faruqi dan Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas secara komparatif serta implikasinya atau relevansinya dalam pengembangan Pendidikan Agama Islam kontemporer dan pengembangan khazanah ilmu Pendidikan Agama Islam. Hasil dari literatur Review ditemukan bahwa dalam Islamisasi ilmu pengetahuan menurut al-Faruqi dan al-Attas menawarkan solusi kritis terhadap problem sekularisasi ilmu. Kedua model ini saling melengkapi dan dapat diimplementasikan dalam pengembangan Pendidikan Agama Islam. Al-Faruqi menekankan integrasi ilmu melalui pendekatan epistemologis, berfokus pada dimensi struktural dan kurikuler melalui pendekatan institusional, sedangkan al Attas menekankan pemurnian epistemologis dan spiritual secara individual (manusiawi), dengan berfokus pada pemurnian ilmu dari pengaruh sekuler. Sinergi antara kedua model ini reformasi kelembagaan sekaligus rekonstruksi konseptual membuka jalan bagi pendidikan agama Islam yang integral: membentuk insan kamil, berdaya intelektual dan spiritual.References
