Tekad: Sebuah Gambaran Motivasi Kerja Pengusaha Toko Kelontong Madura

Abstract


Kampung Tajir is the name of a village located in Cabbiya village, Talango, Sumenep. This is due to the large number of luxury houses and cars in a small village far from the city. While most of the local residents work as fishermen, many have also chosen to migrate and work as grocery store entrepreneurs, earning wages six to eight times higher than the local minimum wage. Achieving a relatively well-established economic condition is obtained after the ups and downs of building a business overseas land and away from family. This study wants to know about the description of work motivation in grocery store entrepreneurs in the village of Tajir Sumenep, Madura. The method used is a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. The analysis used is IPA (Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis). The sampling technique uses purposive sampling with 3 informants based on certain criteria. The results of the study stated that work motivation in grocery store entrepreneurs in Tajir Madura village is formed through a process of experience in terms of performance, reward, challenge, responsibility, development, involvement, and opportunity. Determination is the biggest thing in making decisions related to work and how to maintain work motivation.
